Which is best?

1. I have to pay rent three times as much as I pay now.

2. I have to pay rent three times higher than now.

3. I have to pay rent three times as much as my present one.

Do you come up with a better expression than these?

I think you mean:
I will have to pay three times the rent I pay now.
Or:
My rent will be three times higher.
