Which do I use ?

If I'm writing something that I had it from past, but I still have it now.
I use "have" or "Had"?

Ex:
We found out that we have/had many same hobbies... (till now we still have)

Hi, You could use either. You are referring to the time in the past, when you found learned it, so "had" works. But you still share those hobbies today, so "has" works also.
