which business paragraph is correct??

Hi,
i'm writing a partnership deed but i'm confused about which paragragh is correct.

Hence this deed is witnesseth:

(option 1) that business of the firm shall be to Trade goods, and other lines may be added with the mutual consent of all the parties.branches may be opened and closed at any other place or places as deemed fit by all the parties for their business.

(option 2) That the business of the Partnership Firm hereby formed shall be that of trade goods, and other lines may be added with the mutual consent of all the parties. Branches may open or close at any other place or places as deemed fit by all the parties for their business.

Option 1 is clearer and more straight forward. that the business of the firm shall be to trade goods; other lines may be added with the mutual consent of all parties. Branches may be opened and/or closed at any other place/s as deemed fit by all parties for their business.

  • Option 1 is clearer and more straight forward.
  • that the business of the firm shall be to trade goods; other lines may be added with the mutual consent of all parties.
  • Branches may be opened and/or closed at any other place/s as deemed fit by all parties for their business.
  • " I'm not sure what is meant by that -- why it is included.
