Which answer is more acceptable?

Hi,
If the task was to make questions question for the sentence Simba took Nala to the Pride Lands, which question with where is more acceptable: Where did Simba take Nala? or Where did Simba take Nala to? Or both?!?
Thanks!

Hi jasmina, Thanks for joining us. Welcome to English Forums.

Use the versiion without the "to." The idea of "to" is already included in "where."

If instead of "where" you used "what place?", then you'd need the "to." "What place did Simba take Nala to?"

OR "To which place did Simba take Nala?"
