Which??

The orator put most of the audience, WHICH was uninterested in the lecture, to sleep. 

Do we need to use WHICH here? I think we should use WHO.

It depends on whether you are thinking of the audience as a group, or as individuals. I'd use "which" (thinking of them all as a mass entity), but wouldn't have any trouble reading "who" (thinking of them as a bunch of individuals).
