Whether... or...

Does “whether” always come with “or”?

I mean, can I write:
"I won’t clarify whether I used the microwave oven, which is what most probably I’ve used."

Thank you!

I might have used the microwave oven.

Thank you!

This is the idea:

«Today a microwave oven is as common as a cooker. When I say “I’ve warmed up the lunch” I don’t bother to clarify whether I used the microwave oven, which is what most probably I’ve used.»

When I say “I’ve warmed up the lunch,” I don’t bother to say I used the microwave oven.
