Where's my supper, woman!

Hello, I'd like to know if you heard or still hear (e.g. in movies) the word woman instead of the word wife. Since I found that sentence in a modern dictionary it still can be used, but in a rude, pejorative sense, or men of lower class still can use it. thanks.

I don't hear it. I've heard an occasional man talking about his "lady" however, especially if they aren't married.

I do hear it a lot in late 40s and early 50s R&B and Blues music, for that is what I like to listen to. It is all performed by black singers.
