Whereby or where

Hi. Please help. I think we can use either "whereby" or "where" (see below), eventhough one sentence may have a different meaning than the other.

We have a singing lesson, whereby everyone can learn to sing the song and understand the meaning of the lyrics.

I see no real difference in meaning. You could also use 'wherein'...except that both 'wherein' and 'whereby' are terribly stilted and old-fashioned nowadays. Use 'where'.
