Where / what + destination

Hi everyone

At the ratest TOEIC test, I heard 'What is your destination?'

Can I also say 'Where is your destination?'. To me, this is more natural. Which is better?

Thanks

Hi,

At the latest TOEIC test, I heard 'What is your destination?' This sounds fine to me.

Best wishes, Clive

Thank you all!

Both of your explanations are very helpful.

Where is your destination? is asking Where is Birmingham?

I understand!
