Where to use hyphen (‐) ?

Actually i had an idea of changing one of my social networking sites name. so i decided and thought my name should be like this "lion-nathan". Now my question is when should one add "hyphen " . is it good and correct to add hyphen (-) between my name. And that name is not my authentic name. Just i wished to keep it in that way. Where should i use hyphen ?

Is it wrong? i asked because it wont look good if both the words are joined. i thought It would be good to divide. is this is proper or hyphen should not be used for this purpose? for ex: dogdavid as dog-david . what about this view?

I don't think there is a rule whether or not to insert a hyphen.

I'd write "lion nathan" without a hyphen, but if you prefer to insert one, I doubt anybody will say it's wrong. The same applies to "dog david". You could also capitalise the name - Dog David.
