Where to put the word "yet"

I found out that $100 charged in November was not paid to XYZ yet.

Did I put the word "yet" in the right place?
Or should I put it after the word " not"?

Thanks!

  • I'd say "not yet paid", but "not paid ...
  • yet" is just fine.

It can go in either place. I'd say "not yet paid", but "not paid ... yet" is just fine.

I recommend "has not yet been paid" or "has not been paid ... yet", however, because the "not-paying" extends to the present moment when you use "yet".
