Where to put the comma

I recently posted a picture with the caption "I’m happy to report that, one year and two months after I moved into my apartment, I now finally have light hanging from my ceiling." on Fb. I'm a bit of a perfectionist with spelling and grammar in any language, so my question is: Did I put the comma wrong? I feel like it should be "I'm happy to report, that one year and two months after I moved into my apartment, I now finally have light hanging from my ceiling." Comma before "that". Which way is correct?

The first way is correct in terms of punctuation. It should be "I now finally have a light hanging from my ceiling" though.

Your first version is correct. Your second version is not.
You could also remove both commas.

It's odd to simply say 'light' here.
More normal is 'a light' or 'a light fixture'.

Thank you.
Light hanging from my ceiling was on purpose though, since it wasn't just one and I thought it sounded funnier this way.
