Where to put the comma

This is probably an easy one but, I'm having a tough time finding the right answer. Here is my sentence:

Interwoven has built its unique enterprise-scale solution around Oracle’s proven platform”, said Kevin Jones, vice president and general manager, global software partners, Oracle Systems, Inc.

Should the comma be inside the parenthesis? (just after the word platform?)

Thanks.

Hey Jeff, welcome to the forums.. Commas cause chaos everywhere, there are no 'solid rules' that haven't been broken! I'd do it like this: (I like the second one best) "Interwoven has built its unique enterprise-scale solution around Oracle’s proven platform”, said Kevin Jones, vice president and general manager of global software partners Oracle Systems Inc.

lol hitch, I really like the meat of the examples. What kind of "inverted" 'commas' should we use in order to avoid further confusion. I am not promising I'll abide by the rules.lol

The comma should be inside the quotation marks
