Where is the word stress?

Hi,

Please can you help me with the 3 sentences below and illustrate for me where the word stress is.

This is for help with an assignment to teach English to foreigners,

"If I don't finish work by 6pm, I won't come to the cinema"

"If it rains today, I won't go to the beach later"

"I will stay at home, unless my brother can drive me"

Thankyou for your help, it is much appreciated,

Andria

If I don't finish work by 6pM, I won't come to the CIN ema. If it RAINS today, I won't go to the BEACH later. I will stay at HOME , unless my brother can drive me.

  • If I don't finish work by 6pM, I won't come to the CIN ema.
  • If it RAINS today, I won't go to the BEACH later.
  • I will stay at HOME , unless my brother can drive me.
  • (not much stress at all, often, but either "brother or "drive" is stressed depending on the meaning)
