where is ''hip front'' and "rear hip“?

I've come across a couple of terms in a passage without illustration,

I'd like to know where is " hip front " and where is '' rear hip" ??

Any picture illustration? I 've Googled, but not very clear to me.,

A fairly simple answer is that, if you are wearing the usual type of trousers, the hip front is where the front pocket is and the rear hip is where the rear pocket is

If you are thinking of a hip bone then the rear is the convex surface and the front is the concave surface
