Hi, I know which answer is correct, however, I do not know why one can be used over the other? Can someone explain or tell me the rule? Thank you.
A: Where do you think my bag is?
B: Where do you think is my bag?

As 1 know, "do you think" here is a parenthesis, which can be ignored. where do you think is my bag? > where is my bag?

when "do you think" is added into a interrogative sentence, the order of the sentence must be changed to statement sentence
eg. what can i do? when "do you think " added, the sentence should be what do you think I can do.
