Where can "and" be put in the phrase?
The clothes cost me three thousand and two hundred fifty dollars. The clothes cost me three thousand two hundred and fifty dollars. The later one is right but is the former one right,too? If the former one is right, what can we explain in grammar way? Thank you very much.
