"where" as a conjunction

"This is where I live."
In the sentence above, is the "where" a conjunction??
How is it a concjunction.

It’s definitely not a conjunction. In traditional grammar it’s a relative adverb, as in This is the place where I live.

I'm sorry, but I love it when Parts of Speech breaks down. English wins. You think too much about grammar, and you lose the natural flow of the language. Remember that spoken English comes first, and grammar is playing catch-up, just trying to give us words to describe what is indescribable in its infinite complexity.
