Sometimes you can say I know where this is going to let the speaker know that you don't like what he/she is saying

The listener can't understand what the speaker is trying to say or what the point/idea is. He (the listener) understands the words but he can't grasp the idea behind the speaker's words.
Sometimes you can say
I know where this is going
to let the speaker know that you don't like what he/she is saying
