Where a Thomson belongs

Can one say
a. You will have to be at the head of that company, where a Thomson belongs
?

A Thomson is being told that he or she has to become the head of the company and that a Thomson has to be the head of that company.... A Thomson, although not any Thomson, has to be the head of the company.

Many thanks.

Thank you Mr. M.
Thank you Teechr.

The question was whether one could use that sentence. Teechr replied to the question. I don't know why I forgot the full stop. Sorry about that.

Many thanks.

azzThe question was whether one could use that sentence.
In that case, I think 'a Thomson' means 'any Thomson'.
