Which is correct please?

When I was younger, if I came home late I'd get in trouble.
When I was younger, I'd get in trouble if I came home late.
I'd get in trouble if I came home late when I was younger.

Anonymous Which is correct They are all correct, so it's just a matter of which order of clauses makes your message easiest to understand. I prefer the second one; the first one is OK too; I would not use the last one. CJ
