Whence/from whence/from where

Are these two achaic but both correct?



a. ...the place, from whence it came.

b. ...the place whence it came.



Are these below all correct? Which is the best and why?



c. ...the place from where it came.

d. ...the place where it came from.

e. ...the place which it came from.

f. ...the place from which it came.

Both correct.

Are those below all correct? You can't say, for example, "Are these over there..." These are 'right there', so if you indicate the sentences are elsewhere - 'below' -you must use those.
After a and b, you could have written, "Are these correct?", meaning the s

I also had trouble in the past with the word processor. You know how to quote others work, I assume? That may be a solution, to some of your problems anyway...
