When would be a good time to visit/for visiting?

Which one is correct?

when would be a good time for visiting?
when would be a good time to visit?

Is anyway to know when to use "to verb" and when to use "for verb-ing"?

Thank you guys really appreciate for the help!

Idiomatically speaking, ".....What would be a good time ......" is typically followed by "to infinitive". So " to visit " is the right choice.

" For visiting" is not wrong, but it is less native in my opinion.
