When with will

Hello,

Isn't it a mistake to use 'will' after ' when' in this sentence?

'When will you come home?' This is not a clause, is it?

Thanks

No the question is fine with will. Will is expressing the future here (you could also use the other forms of expressing the future). When will you come home?
