When waking up...

Hi, I have a question about non-finite clauses (participial sentences). Can anyone tell me if the 3rd sentence is correct?

The original and complete complex sentence is :

1.She didnt' know where she was when she woke up.

One can rewrite the above sentence to:

2. When waking up, she didn't know where she was.

However, I am not sure if I change the order of the clauses to:

3. She didn't know where she was when waking up.

Is the 3rd one correct and acceptable?

Many thanks for the help.
