When vs considering/ simple vs continuous/ make double profit

Could you please help me with these sentences? tell me how to say them properly.

- You know he's at work when/considering he's not here
- He went to school less Emotion: time than us. He dropped out in 11th grade, we dropped out in 12th.
- I live/am living with her until I find a place of my own.
- He made double profit/we made 300% profit.
- We bought it for 5 dollars and sold it for 10. We doubled our investment
- How do you know my taste in music/musical taste.
- Can you believe I've been wearing this coat for the past month and it smells better than when I bought it.

Considering he's not here, you know he's not at work. He did not go to school as long as we did. He dropped out in the 11th grade and we dropped out in the 12th.

Wouldn't you also say?

1 You know he's at work when he's not here.

With your suggestion, this means that you are trying to say that if he's not where you are then he MUST be at work. If that is the meaning then it would be fine.

You might do well do put in some contextual clues every once in a while. You might also get quicker responses by breaking up your questions into multiple posts. Just a thought.
