When to use increase/increases

Hi!

I would like to know when to use increase and when to use increases when the word is used as a verb. Has it something to do with singular and plural?

Just like every other English verb, the 3rd person singular simple present tense takes '-s': I go, eat, increase You go, eat, increase He/she/it goes, eats, increases We go, eat, increase You all go, eat, increase They go, eat, increase

Third person singular uses "increases."
