When to use a comma or a full stop?

I have the below sentence and I'm not sure which use would be better, a comma or a full stop.

'Who's that man?'

'It's Dr. Campbell, you remember him, don't you?'
Or
'It's Dr. Campbell. You remember him, don't you?'

What do you think?
