When to put 'about'?

Could you tell me whether I should put 'about' or not in each sentence. I have trouble deciding when I should put 'about' and when Inshouldn't.

1) He won't tell me (about) his age.

2) He won't tell me (about) his secret.

3) He won't tell me (about) what happened.

4) He won't tell me (about) his personal life.
