When to Capitalize

If I am writing a company wide email, would I write "Dear Colleagues" or "Dear colleagues".

Both are in wide use, and I don't think it is worth soul-searching for the 'correct' choice, but I see no reason to capitalize 'colleagues', 'friends', etc., in such general greetings, since they are not proper names or titles.
