When this is done automatically, then why do you persistently advise me to do it specifically?

Hi

Is the sentence below correct? I want to use the word "specifically" in contrast to "automatically"; I don't "specifically" fits the criteria. Please help me with it. Thank you.

In my opinion, the sentence does not make much sense. The opposite of "automatically" is something akin to "manually," and the opposite of "specifically" is "generally."

If, however, you would like to stick with what you've already written, my only suggestion is to omit the "then."
