When that should be present?

Hello,

Could you please tell me when 'that' is optional and when it's not?

Those are some good words you are learning. (or that you are learning?)

What are some of the new words that you are learning.(can it be omitted here?)

I hope your weekend is going well. (I hope 'that'?)

I love pets, but I hate that I can't have any where I live right now.( can it be omitted here too?)

In general you can omit "that" if the meaning of the sentence does not change and it is still clear. For your first three sentences you can put it in or leave it out. >> I hate IT that I can't have any.....

Without "that" the sentence would not be clear.
