When should we use “we” and when should we use “us”?

When should we use “we” and when should we use “us”? As in this sentence usually the use of “we” or “us” is quite distinct at it is difficult to make a mistake, but there are a few cases where it is difficult to recognise which is correct.
According to the rules I understand that:
“Us” should be used only if it represents an object, that is, an organisation (i.e. a Company)
“We” should be used only if it represents a subject, that is, a group of people (i.e. the workers, me and my friends).
This would be valid in sentences like the following:

It is us who will be paid (us refers to an object)
It is we who will be paid (us refers to a subject)

Neither we nor any third parties
Neither us nor any third parties

However we have the following, which obviously (?) refer to people not to objects, but they use the pronoun “us” not “we”:
all of us
be all around us
more than all of us put together
Till death do us part
us all
with us

Are there additional rules for using “us” or “we”?

We is the subject pronoun; us is the object pronoun (direct, indirect & preposition). There is no distinction between people and things, although the two are not often used to refer to a thing (except for an organization of which the speaker is a member).

We will be paid.
