msre I was wondering if you can tell me what does "shall" mean , Shall used to be used with first person instead of will , but it is not used much any more. Sometimes it is used for a polite request or for emphasis (determination or command). Shall we dance?

Shall has generally been replaced by will in all but the most formal speech and writing. However, when shall and will introduce questions, there is a difference.
Shall we go? means "Do you want to go?"
Will we get coffee? You're not sure whether they'll serve coffee or not.
