When it comes to

How would I have to say this please?
When it comes to sliders, you want them as compact as possible when it comes to carrying it around, but you want a very long camera travel when it comes to shooting with them.

Thank you

You have used "when it comes to" properly every time, but three in one sentence is too many: "When it comes to sliders, you want them as compact as possible for carrying around, but you want a very long camera travel for shooting with them."

If I used the sentences separately, would this be nicely written?

As long as they are not juxtaposed in the text, they are fine.
