Grammar

When I am going to be ready, I will study.

1. When I'm going to be ready, I will study. .

2. When I'm ready, I will study.

3. When I will be ready, I will study.

I know that 3 is not grammatical, then how about sentence 1?

Isn't it possible to use 'be going to do' in an adverbial clause of time just like 'will' ?

Michelle Cha I know that 3 is not grammatical, then how about sentence 1? It's also ungrammatical. The same restrictions apply to "going to" as apply to "will" in such clauses.
