When do we put a comma before /though/ and /too/ ?

Dear Users,

I see sentences with though or too at the end. Sometimes those words are preceded by a comma, sometimes they're not. Would someone mind enlightening me when we need to put a come in front of them?

Thanks!

Thanks. Good to know that!

I'd like to ask two additional questions.

1) What if we use though in the middle of the sentence?
2) How about short sentences, such as these:
- I don't know, though.
- The course description has to undergo some changes, though.

Thank you. I don't want to start a whole new topic, so I'll just ask here. What about the word too? Do we put a comma before it?

A: Eat healthy food, Tom.
B: You should, too.
