When clause Question?

1) When is it good for you?

2) when is good for ?

Which one is grammatically correct? why?

I notice that the question sentence with "why" is usually in the following paterns:

( why + is + subject+ AdJ)

Why is he stupid?

Why is this book interesting?

I also the the Question with " why"

eg, Why is that?

Is the question ( why is that) grammtically correct? becuase it is just ( why + be+ subject)

Assuming you are trying to schedule an appointment, you say, "When is good for you?" ( = What time (or day) is a good time (or day) for us to schedule this appointment?" ) (Neither one of your choices has this.)
