Some people argue that a good salary is the most crucial factor that people take into consideration before being involved in a job. In my opinion, I agree that a high wage is significant for people's lives. However, I believe other factors need to be considered to be extremely important.

A decent wage is integral to people seeking a job because of the two advantages. Firstly, a good-paying job helps people have a good standard of living. Several studies show that there is a strong relationship between salary and satisfaction with life. For example, when having decent money, people are able to purchase machines that are used for housework. or other high-tech household machines to make their lives more modern and convenient. Therefore, people will have a more relaxed time with their family instead of doing chores. Secondly, high salaries generate strong motivation in the workers. This necessary motivation will help employees overcome many obstacles and challenges in their careers and more importantly, that make people have a long-term commitment to their job. Indeed, the salary is a strong motivation but there are still other motivations making people choose a job.

There are two factors which people take into consideration before getting involved in any kind of job. One is job satisfaction which is the sense of fulfillment and expectation for the job to be interesting, challenging, and personally satisfying. When people are satisfied, they tend to care more about the quality of their work, then they are generally more productive. Whereas, If they do not constantly attain their goal or their objects, which might lead to frustration and even depression in their job. Additionally, the contribution that the work may make towards society is also extremely important. This is due to the fact that doing a meaningful job for society gives people a chance to realize their value, hence they are more committed to their organization.

In conclusion, a good wage is an indispensable factor when considering a job but it is not foremost because there are other important factors to examine in order to have a great job.
