when can i use is and does in a question

as you can see in the subject it confused me a lot when and how can i use them?

Post some sentences that you want to convert to questions.

eg.

Sentence 1:
He is a nice man.
Question - the question has exactly the same words, but in a different order:
Is he a nice man?

Sentence 2:
Her name is Anne.
Question: Begin with an interrogative pronoun (what, who, when, how...) and change the word order.

In short, use "does" with verb forms that do not have "-ing" endings, and "is" with everything else.
