Can you tell me what you think about these WHILE and WHEN sentences?
- Was it monday that/when you got into a fight. - I called when I was leaving. (When can be followed by either the simple or contiuous tense when the first part is either simple or continuous?) - He was attentive while he sat. - I don't remember what she looks like while she's working the streets in the first scenes of the movie.
Thank you
