I get "Winter storm warnings now for the immediate coastline as a clipper feature comes on through right now." I have no idea what a "clipper feature" might be, so maybe I'm hearing it wrong.

Apparently a clipper is a fast moving, snow producing weather system. I had never heard of it before either, but where I live it only snows about once a year anyway.

Learn something new every day on English Forums! Thanks, Blue Jay! Colorado gets a fair amount of snow but I've never heard any of it referred to as a clipper.
