What/Why it matters?
Hi, I'm a little uncertain about...
If someone asks "What does it matter?" can I then respond "What it matters?"? Or does it have to be "Why it matters?"?

With no further context, I'd probably begin 'It matters because ...'

No. But you can reply with "Does what matter?" if you're asking what "it" is.

It doesn't have to be that at all. In fact, it must not be that because that's wrong.
