What's wrong with this sentence ?

"However small, the sitting room is well designed and nicely decorated."
Could u find one error in this sentence and how to correct it ?

Hi, Your teacher is probably looking for 'although' instead of 'however'. I wouldn't say 'however' is completely wrong. Clive

Hi,

Your teacher is probably looking for 'although' instead of 'however'.

I wouldn't say 'however' is completely wrong.

I would feel better with more: 'however small the living room may be....'.
