to describe the way how the water in a fountain never runs out and it just keeps on using the same water to send it to the air.

The fountain recirculates water. It works by recirculating water. But that's not like a waterfall - at least not like waterfalls that occur in nature.

The fountain recirculates water. It works by recirculating water.

But that's not like a waterfall - at least not like waterfalls that occur in nature.

CJ used the word "recirculates." I guess I would be more inclined to say that it "circulates" water. It's a cycle. You can say it's cyclical. It's similar to the process of evaporation, water condensing in clouds and then rain falling...but not exactly.
