What's the weather?

Experts,

If you want to ask what kind of weather you're having today, saying "What's the weather? " be good enough?

Or would it be better to say: "What's the weather out?", "What's the weather today?" , "What's the weather out today?"

Thank you.

No. I usually say 'What's the weather like?' or 'How's the weather?"

Thank you Clive.
So "What's the weather like outside?" be OK, right?
But how about "What's the weather like out?", colloquially, is this acceptable, as well?

Hi,

Yes, that all sounds OK.

Just don't ask 'What's the weather like inside'.Emotion: stick out tongue
