What's the usage of " end up"?

I saw " end up" many times and then I looked it up in dictionary several times ,despite my searching in dictionary I Couldn't find my answer as well since it described not as it should be.
then please clarify me about "end up"

For instance in the following sentence :

(it's going it will end up being too close to the manga for them to have another cour set without it going into a good story)
