The Oxford Dictionary lists both Walkmen and Walkmans as plural forms.
Cambridge lists only Walkmans.

All of the dictionaries I checked categorize Walkman as a trademark (thus the capitalization) rather than a "generic noun".

Sony: "The plural form is not `walkmen` or `walkmans` but Walkman personal stereos"

Hi,
So would you say that the singular is not 'a Walkman', but only 'a Walkman personal stereo'?

Many people might think that the plural of Walkman would be Walkmen following the form for man/men and woman/women. However, these two words are not regular. So it would not be appropriate to follow them.

The correct plural of Walkman is found in the regular ending used to make a singular noun plural, add an 's.'

The plural of Walkman is Walkmans.

Hi,

Do people still talk about the Walkman device , or it just outmoded technology?

Is the brand still made and sold?

I seem to remember a Japan newspaper article a few months ago indicating that manufacture and distribution was being discontinued except for sale in some SE Asian countries (Vietnam, Malaysia?)

Hi,

So maybe this will no longer be an issue.

Anyway, perhaps a more modern term would be 'a Walkperson' / 'Walkpersons'.
