What's the meaning of 'microfoundation'?

Hello.
Today I found a new word 'micro foundation.'
I have looked up the word in all dictionaries which I can reach.

But I coudn't find the suitable answer. Maybe my dictionaries are too old.

I can see the word in the internet in the form of 'microfoundation.'

It may be a word of economics, but I'm not sure.
What does the word mean?

Ah, Mr. Kim, you are just the one to answer our question of the proper English pronunciation of the Korean "Tae". Should we say "Tay" or "Tie" when pronouncing your name?

As in Chinese, I'd wager that the only difference between "Tae" and "Dae" is one of articulation, voiced or unvoiced. If not, then our Korean transliteration scheme is really hosed.

"Micro" & "macro" can be prefixes (combining forms) or words in themselves
