What's the meaning of "immediately" in this sentence?

"Several animal bHLH proteins also have an Leucine Zipper immediately C-terminal to the second helix"

In this sentence, how to understand the "immediately"? I think it's error usage in there. Could you tell me your opinion? Thanks!
